This Give Back Friday, 21st July, we’re supporting Ouseburn Farm by donating 10% of the day's sales in-store and online to the Charity.
Ouseburn Farm is a charity and working community farm in the urban heart of Newcastle upon Tyne. It was founded in 1976, when parents from Byker took over a plot of land for their children to have access to nature, to grow their own food and take care of animals.
The farm continues it's good work today. They welcome 36,000 visitors every year and provide placements for adults with learning disabilities in their farmyard, gardens, kitchen, cafe and visitors centre.
As a registered charity, they welcome donations to help keep the farm running smoothly which is why we've chosen to support them this month.
