Our good friend Rebecca Ridley Ceramics is returning to our Whitley Bay shop to pop up on Saturday 26th August ..
Rebecca is a ceramicist based in The Brickworks Studios in Ouseburn, the creative heart of Newcastle upon Tyne. She creates a beautiful range of homeware and tableware on her potters wheel making each piece a distinctive one-of-a-kind.
Rebecca likes to explore different textures and colours which is why clay is the perfect medium for her. She enjoys the freedom of creating in a fluid way – designing as she makes, The importance of handmade objects in the current climate of mass-produced products is important to Rebecca's work, and she is mindful to allow all the components she creates to be distinctive and for each of them to take on their own characteristics.
Rebecca will be bringing a variety of pieces to Bellwoods, including mugs, vases, pots and bowls, so this is your chance to take something unique home with you, or pick up a special gift.
