We're very excited to welcome our favourite polymer clay jewellery back to the shop - Fison Zair.
The maker behind the brand is Sheffield-based Katy (who had her first baby not long ago!) The studio’s name is inspired by Katy’s Granddads; Fison and Isaiah ('Zair' for short). Despite the exotic sounding name they were true Yorkshire folk, skilled craftsmen in Sheffield Steel Works. Having an inquisitive and creative yet frugal lifestyle, they utilised, treasured and repaired everyday objects. Katy likes to think of her brand Fison Zair as a continuation of their skills and legacy, only set in a colourful contemporary world.
Katy has a true love of colour and uses striking palettes again and again in her jewellery. Her inspirations come from cityscapes and landscapes, combined with a colourful and bold aesthetic to create her playful jewellery and bring joy to everyday style.
